When you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, you become a completely new creation. You now have a new life; one you’ve been given by God. An exchange takes place the moment you accept Jesus’s invitation to life: God’s quid pro quo. Something for something: You give him your old life, and he gives you a new life.
